SHELL

This collection, inspired by the intricate shell of a snail, delves into the themes of vulnerability and self-protection. Much lik a snail that retreats into its shell for safety or emerges to explore the world, the collection explores the tension between concealment and exposure. Each piece is designed to play with these dualities - hiding and revealing- through layering, and use of fabrics. 

As Anne considers this her debut collection, it serves as a statement of Identity for the designer, a raw and honest exploration of what it means to navigate between these states of being - shielded and exposed. It captures the essence of starting anew, where one must balacne between guarding oneself and laying bare their true essence. Each design choice reflects a moment of transition, a point where the wearer must choose to either retreat into safety or emerge, stripped of protection to face the world.
